Saturdays, 10:00 am - 10:50 am
No class on the following holidays:
Easter weekend: 3/30
Spring recess: 4/20, 4/27
Memorial Day weekend: 5/25

This is a French discovery class for children who have no knowledge of French.

The fundamentals are presented through a variety of fun listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities.


We'll cover key French vocabulary, and pronunciation and plus learn key questions and answers, and ways to understand easy interactions. Children will learn to:


  • Introduce themselves and identify objects, actions, and how to interact in the classroom in French

  • Ask questions & short answer phrasing (how to say bonjour / au revoir and ask someone's name)

  • Alphabet & spelling

  • Identify sounds & words

  • Count up to 12

  • Colors, animals, foods

  • Naming and describing activities (describe someone, their family, pets, etc.)

  • Express likes, dislikes, and preferences

  • Grammar: pronoms personnels, articles indéfinis, définis, c'est un/une
