Learn French Brooklyn offers a variety of group and private class options for younger students and teens. Beneficial to academic success, confidence, communication, and creativity, French language education is the gift that pays off and empowers.
Our beginner French lessons for children and preteens are taught by highly qualified native French teachers. Students will be introduced to French through a variety of activities and role-playing designed for young students.
The fundamentals of French are presented through a variety of fun listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. The course curriculum focuses primarily on oral communication, although reading and writing will be introduced according to the child's age and abilities.
We'll cover key French vocabulary, and pronunciation and plus learn key questions and answers, and ways to understand easy interactions, including:

FRENCH FOR CHILDREN & PRETEENS
Learn French Brooklyn provides beginner French lessons for children and preteens ages 8-13 with highly qualified native French teachers. Students will be introduced to French through a variety of activities and role-playing designed for young students. Our curriculum focuses on listening, speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.

Introduction to French
Ages: 8-9
This is a French discovery class for children ages 8-9 who have no knowledge of French. Students will learn basic French vocabulary including colors, numbers, greetings, and more.
Our approach combines fun activities with weekly themes. At the end of this course, students will be able to identify and properly use basic French words and short phrasing.

Introduction to French
Ages: 10-11
Designed to teach children how to read, write, and communicate in French. In this class students will discover and learn basic French vocabulary, learn how to introduce themselves and be able to answer simple questions in French.
Through the use of games, songs, flashcards and role-playing children will learn colors, numbers, greetings, animals, days of-the-week, seasons and more.

Introduction to French
Preteens Ages: 12-13
Designed to teach pre-teens how to read, write, and communicate in French. Themes, activities, and books are specifically adapted to reflect the interests of children of this age and respond to their needs.
Students will learn how to speak about themselves, and their families, express their feelings and talk about their passions. They will also learn vocabulary like numbers, days of the week, greetings, etc.
