The Test de connaissance du français (TCF) is a French knowledge test administered by the Centre international d’études pédagogiques (CIEP) an institution connected to the French Education Ministry.

 

TCF tests listening, language structures and reading, with optional writing and speaking components. Learn French BK will guide students through listening, proficiency in language structures and reading to help you attain the best score possible. The course includes 15-hours of lessons plus a 1-hour mock-exam.

 

This course is geared toward intermediate and advanced level French language speakers who are looking to measure their French knowledge for personal or professional reasons.

Pre-requisites:

This class is designed to help candidates prepare for the exam and will focus exclusively on the different sections of the test. Therefore, an intermediate or advanced level is necessary to benefit the most from the course.

Taking the test:

​

Only approved CIEP centers are authorized to organize TCF sessions. It is your responsibility to contact the approved center to obtain information on:

 

• the examination date and time in the week indicated on the calendar, or on certain other days of the month;

• the information required for registration;

• the fee for compulsory and supplementary examinations.
